Trojan volleyball team claims first victory of season

The South Tama girls’ varsity volleyball team shut down the Grinnell Tigers in their away game on Aug. 23, winning the match in set four. While the Tigers did win the first set, the Trojans kept energy high, taking a close victory in set two, winning by only two points. After that, they snowballed through set three with a solid 25-17. The Trojans ended the match, beating the Tigers by five points in the final set.
