GRINNELL — The South Tama football team traveled to Grinnell last Friday night to face the Tigers in a District 5 matchup. Grinnell came into the game with a record of 4-1 and having recently dropped out of the Class 3A Top 10 rankings.

The drive was finished by Medina, who scored on a 7-yard touchdown run. However, Grinnell added two second half touchdowns and a field goal to put the final score at 45-7 in favor of the Tigers.

For the game, Medina rushed 14 times for a game-high 65 yards. He was followed by senior quarterback Cody Blocker who ran 9 times for 29 yards. Blocker was also 5/9 in passing attempts.
