Kickin’ It
The Marshalltown Premier League’s season final
TOLEDO — As the wind starts to chill, many summer activities come to an end, including Marshalltown Premier League’s soccer in the park. After months filled with nail-biting games at Toledo Heights Park, the season for soccer came to an end with a rough and tumble finale. With the reigning champions, the Bobcats, facing off against the Party Boyz, the league’s top two teams left it all on the field. The players battled it out on the park’s barren field, kicking up clouds of dust as they ran from one end to another. The hard fought game ended with the Party Boyz winning the big trophy with a final score of 5-1.
